Learning by doing

How does the brain work? Take a neuroscience course, then build an app. Chess? Hours of YouTube, 10,000 games. AI? Get Claude Code and start building. IPAs? A website with a terrible pun for a name. And that’s just what fit on this page. What drives me is curiosity — and the need to actually build things to understand them.

It started with Maths. Then code, taught to myself. Then consulting, energy, data, AI — 18 years and 149 days navigating between business and technology.

I also write — by hand, not by AI. About what I learn, what I read, what I think.
